(she/her/hers)
Hi! I’m Liz. I received my MSW at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College after years of teaching visual arts to NYC public school children of all ages. I also have training from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy within their Family and Couples Treatment Services division. I see individuals, couples and families.
My professional approach is eclectic, strengths-based and collaborative; informed by clinical modalities such as systems theory, EFT, IFS, Gottman Method, attachment theory and art therapy. I believe that empathy, compassion, and unconditional acceptance are integral to the therapeutic process. I’m also a lifelong learner continuously building my toolbox.
I am a Native New Yorker who loves traveling, lives in a bilingual home, and deeply values diversity. I am passionate and enjoy working with people of various backgrounds and various circumstances. Together we can take the journey towards meaningful life changes that you value and consider important.
