Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
(she/her/hers)

Hello, I’m Sarah, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern and New York native with a rich cultural background. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pace University and am currently pursuing my master’s in Mental Health Counseling at NYU. I offer therapy to individuals and couples, focusing on anxiety and career transitions. Being multilingual in English, Hindi, and Urdu, I am committed to helping people from diverse communities.

With over six years of experience in consulting and marketing, I excelled in crafting engaging campaigns and connecting with diverse audiences. However, my desire for working with others to build confidence in themselves led me to volunteer in supporting trauma survivors, which ignited my passion for mental health counseling.

As a South Asian American, I understand the cultural nuances surrounding mental health in my community. I believe in helping you move from where you are to where you want to be. My approach incorporates evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based methods. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll uncover the best strategies for you and develop practical skills to navigate life’s uncertainties with confidence.

My journey from marketing and consulting to mental health counseling underscores my dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. I look forward to supporting your journey towards healing and growth.
